Lucie Vano first picked up a guitar when she was 10 years old and living in Manila. She began writing and performing music while growing up in Sydney. She then moved to Adelaide where she found a passion for music production. After over 10 years of playing music with her band W.M.N, touring, self-releasing EP’s, as well as being nominated and awarded for Best Music Video by Music S.A in 2016, Lucie is now releasing her solo work.
With a love for lyricism and detailed production Lucie writes, records and produces all her own music. Drawing from influences like other Indie electronic producers such as Bon Iver (Justin Vernon) and Kevin Garrett – her music focuses on raw powerful lyrics and warm music production intended to draw you in. Lucie moved to Melbourne in 2019 to solely focus on her music and starting off with her latest release ‘We took it too far.’ 2020 will see Lucie focus on single releases while collaborating with other singers, producers and spoken word poets.
"There’s a noticeable passion and experimentation in Vano’s music production."
